ADDRESS SKY VIEW
HOTEL REVIEW
PLUSES
- Opened in 2019, designed by the architects of Burj Khalifa, the hotel is an architectural marvel featuring two skyscrapers connected by a three-level Sky Bridge.
- Incredible views overlooking Downtown Dubai and Burj Khalifa.
- Proximity to Dubai Mall and Metro.
- Relatively large standard rooms.
- Infinity Sky View pool at the Sky Bridge on the 54th floor.
- No kids at the Sky View infinity pool (it is restricted to guests 18 years of age and older).
- Swimming and lounging on sunbeds at the Sky View infinity pool is exclusive for hotel guests only.
- Interior design and furnishings are astonishing.
MINUSES
- Long check-in and check-out lines.
- Upon arrival, no personal attention or assistance.
- People from the adjacent CÉ LA VI Dubai restaurant constantly mingling on the Sky View pool sundeck for photo opps.
TIPS
- Come to the 54th floor before the Sky View infinity pool opens (it’s open 9 am -7 pm every day), so when the lifeguard/security guard opens the stanchions, you are one of the first ones to grab a sunbed or a cabana because the area around the pool is not big. There are only about 18 sun loungers and 12 cabanas by the pool, whereas the hotel has 169 rooms.
- The adjacent CÉ LA VI Dubai restaurant does not belong to the hotel, and needs booking several days or more in advance.
- If you find the Sky View infinity pool too noisy and busy, the lobby level swimming pool downstairs (it’s open 7 am -7 pm every day) is huge and has beautiful Burj Khalifa views with direct sunlight in the morning.
- Plan your check-in and check-out times outside the normal check-in and check-out times if you want to avoid long lines.
- If you can’t find anyone to assist you once you enter the hotel, go out and ask one of the valet attendants to help you. My valet attendant was extremely efficient in getting someone to help me with the check-in process.
